Being Preggers..

It's been quite the journey for me being pregnant. I really do envy those people who "feel the best when there pregnant" and who "love being pregnant" I can honestly say I have no LOVED being pregnant. I am very blessed and greatful that I have this little miracle growing inside of me but it hasn't been easy! lol I have only recently started feeling better which has been GREAT I still have my days but it is much better! I am 23.5 weeks and I can hardly believe how quick time is going by.

We are having a BOY! We are both so excited!! We had our ultrasound and it was so incredible to get to see our handsome little man. He is growing strong. Matt was very proud to know he was getting a son! He is going to be the cutest little cowboys, and maple leafs fan there ever was! We are having so much fun putting together a nursery and getting ready for baby boy Smith to get here!

I am so excited to be a mom! Life has been so great for me so far and I am so excited for this next chapter! Our little family is the most important thing in this world and Matt and I are just counting down the days till we get to meet our son!!

Baby Smith

Well I thought I had better start to write things down about my pregnancy before I forget! (Although some of it I wouldn't mind forgetting) well as you all know I have always wanted to be a mom. It took some convincing with the hubby but he is now very excited. I remember it was July 10th when I found out, I came home for lunch and just had this feeling that I should take a pregnancy test. So I did and to my shock it was positive so of course I had to take another one just to be sure and sure enough it was also positive. I stayed in my bathroom and laughed and cried and then immediately started to freak out. I called matt but he didn't answer so I decided I would make him a cute little note to soften the blow a bit Annd that way I didn't have to tell him face to face.. I could give him some time to process lol. Matt gets home at 4:30  and I don't get home until 6ish so once 4:30 hit I was very anxious and kept checking my phone any chance I got. But he never texted I remember being very nervous to come home that day. I walked in the backdoor and when I saw his face I immediately knew he had seen my note. Needless to say we were both shocked with how quickly it happened but are excited and very fortunate to be so lucky!

My first trimester well.. Has been pretty rough! Not that I'm complaining I feel very blessed to have this little miracle growing inside me but I have been really sick. Only hospitalized once and only for a couple of hours! Mom and baby are doing good :) I just hope soon the nausea will go away! Lol I am now 15 weeks and am very anxious and excited! We have the ultrasound on October 15th and yes we are finding out this momma doesn't like suprised! I am definitely showing now which is fun! I am excited for what is yet to come and am just trying to appreciate everyday! I can hardly wait to be a mom!

Playing Catch-up

Wow well its been a while since I've blogged so I decided I had better play some catch-up.

Well I'm getting older!! I turned 23 woo hoo lol It was a good birthday I celebrated the day of with Matt we went out to Twin butte for dinner and Matt spoiled me as always. The next day I celebrated with family and friends at The firestone and then went out dancing. Sunday I celebrated in Magrath with the fam!! Yes I know I'm spoiled birthdays have always been a BIG deal in my family and I absolutely love it! Here are some pics from my birthday celebrations!

We took a Vacation with Christie and Mike and went to Las Vegas! It was definitely something!! I dont know that I would ever go back but it was cool to see! Just verrry expensive!! lol We had a great time tho we went and Saw "O" and we went on a club crawl, watched a comedy show, shopped and spent some time at the pool! Heres some pics from our trip.

We bought a Trailer!! We are verrry excited about our new purchase!! We plan on camping our summer away!! It's a 27 ft bumper pull sleeps 6 comfortably its a 2006 its beautiful and its perfect!! I can hardly wait to get our camp on here are some pics of our new baby!!

Life has been good to us this year! I can hardly believe Matt and I are coming up on a year of being Married!! I love him more and more each day and can hardly wait for what our future holds!! We are getting ready to take the trailer out for the first time this weekend to Waterton and we both have a week off next week! Life is GREAT <3

Valentines & Fairmont

Life has been crazy busy lately! 2 of the Girls from work quit and moved away so there are only two of us Stylists and it has been BUSY! Which I'm not going to complain about but man Do I feel burnt out when Friday Finally gets here! Oh well it's good for me! Right?! haha Things have been going good at work for Matt he keeps very busy and Loves it. We have been looking at and researching trailers lately and are hoping to get one so we can camp our summer away! Married Life is great :)

Valentines day at the Smith's was a success! We had a very romantic dinner at home, took Dre for a walk and snuggled and watched son's of anarchy! It was perfect :) Matt spoiled me of course (luckiest girls alive I know!) He got me new diamond hoop earrings, they are gorgeous and a beautiful bouquet! I got him a "man" bouquet he loved it :)

 

I got to go to Fairmont with the fam for the weekend and we had soo much fun! It was Dexter's 3rd Birthday an Hallie's 17th! So crazy I know it makes me feel old!! The first day we went to the pool had some dinner and then all just got settled in and hung out! I let Dexter open one of his presents early and we all had some fun with that!!

 

Saturday we all headed to Invemere to do some shopping. We hit up the green apple which is a sweet bargain shop and we all got some sweet souvenirs. After that we all went swimming at the pool. And then later on we celebrated Dex and Hallie's birthdays!!

 

 

Sunday we all went sledding!!

 

As you can tell we had an awesome time! I went home Monday with East, Kass and livi. I'm sad I couldn't stay the whole week for fun but I am very glad I got to go! I seriously have the best family ever we had lots of laughs and made some more fun memories and I can hardly wait for our next family trip together!!
